Come and see 4 stunning gardens full of native plants from all parts of Australia. The gardens range from a small suburban garden through to larger lifestyle gardens. 2 gardens are located in Warrnambool and 2 at Illowa. Refreshments will be available to purchase at 2 of the gardens. Displays and representatives of both 'Gardens for Wildlife' and 'Mosswood Wildlife' in attendance.Garden location maps available from 7 Settlers Lane Illowa and 37 Obrien St Warrnambool on the day.
Funds raised to go to the Australian Plants Society, Warrnambool & District Group and Mosswood Wildlife.
A free guided walk of the James Swan Reserve in Warrnambool lead by Kevin Sparrow, author of the Plants of the Great South West, will be held at 12:30pm.
The Australian Plant Society Warrnambool and District Group wish to acknowledge the Peek Whurrong people of the Gunditjmara culture, the traditional custodians of Maar Country, we pay our respects to their elders, past, present and emerging.
