ACCCN Adult ALS 1 Day Recertification
About
ACCCN recommends annual recertification in Advanced Life Support and offers a one-day theoretical and practical Adult Advanced Life Support recertification program for healthcare professionals who have previously completed a formal Adult ALS course. At registration you will be asked to produce evidence of your current ALS certification to assure that recertification is appropriate.Based on the latest Australian Resuscitation Council Statements on Basic and Advanced Life Support and current ANZCOR guidelines, the morning is a review of ALS content with the opportunity to apply those concepts in practice scenarios. The theoretical and practical assessment for recertification will follow in the afternoon.

Priorities of care
Basic Life Support algorithm and principles
Adult Advanced Life Support algorithm and principles
Airway management and electrical therapy skill stations.
