Launch of the 2026 Ladies Fundraising Calendar
About
Metung Bloodhounds Inc is a volunteer organisation formed in 1996 to raise funds in support of individuals, projects and organisations within the East Gippsland Community. This year, they have created a calendar that will be sold to raise funds to supportimprovements to the Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS) Emergency Department.
This event will launch the sale of those calendars.
In moments of crisis, the BRHS Emergency Department is the frontline of healthcare for East Gippsland. The demand for this emergency service continues to grow and they have seen a 10% increase in Emergency presentations each year over the last 3 years.
The BRHS Chief Executive Officer advised that, although the Victorian Department of Health provides funding to maintain services for all
hospitals in the State, support from the community is essential for “extras that make BRHS such a great facility.”
