Apeiron Baroque shifts into the near future of the Classical period to showcase works for our Mozart-era fortepiano, violin, and viola dámore.Works from familiar composers such as Mozart, Schubert, Haydn, and CPE Bach from the German school of classical music, alongside rare gems from a French Revolutionary composer (Edelmann) and a short-lived Spanish prodigy (de Nebra).
Of course, we can’t escape our Baroque roots, and Apeiron will also showcase pieces by a noted Astronomer Royal (Herschel), a Scottish champion of the gamba and mercenary (Hume), and Rameau’s shadow in Paris (Mondonville).
