U15 Girls' Representative Cricket Trial Registration for 2025-26
This is the registration process for NSJCA's U15 girls' representative cricket trials for season 2025-26. If required, there will be two trials and this registration will cover both trials. Please ensure the birth date for your daughter is correctly entered into the registration form. If you register and subsequently decide to cancel, please advise us before the trial takes place.
Registering more than one player. Please enter the same number of tickets as the number of players you are registering. This will save you entering your contact details multiple times.
Competition Dates. Competition matches will be played during school holidays on these dates: Dec 16, 21, 22, Jan 8, 11, 13, 15 then finals Jan 18 (SF) and Jan 25 (GF). There may also be practice matches prior to the competition.
Teams. NSJCA aims to field two teams in the competition. This; however, will depend on whether there are sufficient trialists of sufficient quality and Cricket NSW approval.
Eligibility. Girls are eligible to represent an Association (or Zone) by satisfying any of the criteria below:
- The player is enrolled in a school within the boundaries of that Association/Zone.
- The player resides within the boundaries of that Association/Zone.
- The player plays for a club within the boundaries of that Association/Zone (the club may be a Women’s Premier Cricket club including Brewer Shield or a junior club within an Association).
Exemptions for eligibility require approval from NSJCA’s Representative Sub‐Committee and will only be granted case-by-case. Requests for exemptions are to be submitted via: reps@nsjca.asn.au before registration but no later than one week prior to the first trial.
Trial Dates & Times. Trial dates & times are posted on the NSJCA website www.nsjca.asn.au. Players must be registered before trialing.
Changes to Arrangements. The trial dates, times and venue may change. Such changes will be advised via the NSJCA website www.nsjca.asn.au.
Parent and Player Responsibilities. For each trial, players are to bring a 142g red leather cricket ball. They should also bring food and water. Players are not to wear representative cricket clothing to trials. Parents are to:
- supervise triallists who are not undertaking trial activity at a particular time
- remain at a distance from trial areas, including when their children are undertaking trial activity
Commitment. Representative cricket requires commitment. Please consider the playing dates carefully. If your daughter will be absent during any of the competition period, please advise us of this ahead of, or at the trial so we can determine whether it is possible to accommodate her availability, rather than deciding not to trial.
If your daughter will not be available during the competition period, this may affect NSJCA’s decision whether to field two teams and/or about how many players to select. Selected players who decide to take holidays during the competition without prior notification may not be selected in future years.
Compliance. Parents who register are requested to read NSJCA's representative cricket policies, which can be found here: https://nsjca.asn.au/category/representative-cricket/
These policies, including codes of conduct, bind trialists and those selected to play. By registering, parents agree to accept selection decisions made by NSJCA's Representative Sub-Committee.
