Join us on Sunday, 21st September, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm to mark UN International Peace Day with a special event featuring Jo Vallentine. A lifelong peace activist and former senator for Western Australia, Jo has been at the forefront of nonviolent action and social justice movements for decades.In her own words: “I will be sharing something of my efforts for peace – despite dark times, we cannot give up – never!”
Jo will reflect on her personal journey, challenges, and triumphs in the ongoing struggle for peace. Her deep commitment, courage, and wisdom continue to inspire many across generations. This is a rare opportunity to hear from someone whose activism has shaped Australia’s peace movement.
All are welcome to join us in this uplifting and powerful gathering. Please bring a vegetarian plate to share for lunch afterwards.
