This session will cover the general administration of intestate estates, with a focus on the practical issues commonly encountered in practice. Additionally, we will consider the administration of estates requiring Letters of Administration with the Will Annexed and those involving wholly inoperative wills, and how these situations intersect with intestacy under the Succession Act 2023 (SA).Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of intestate estate administration under the Succession Act 2023 (SA) including how it applies to Letters of Administration with will annexed and wholly inoperative will. The session will also provide practical guidance to assist in efficiently managing the distribution process of an intestate estate.
