NSW Parliamentary Screening - Warning! Life Goes On

About
Join Lynda Voltz MP at the NSW Parliament for an exclusive screening of the Ukrainian film 'Warning! Life Goes On' - 'Обережно! Життя Триває'.The film tells the story of Kharkiv street artist Hamlet Zinkivsky's (Ukraine's "Banksy") journey to the liberated city of Izyum, 60 km from the front line. The artist paints his works on the streets destroyed during the russian occupation and communicates with local residents. One of them is Volodymyr, a local who lost half of his family when his house collapsed. Interacting with and observing the artist's work inspires Volodymyr to start changing his life. Hamlet meets different people, sees their everyday lives, their condition, hears their stories, and feels the severity of their trauma even a year after liberation. "Warning! Life goes on" is a unique portrait of a city destroyed by occupation, however the city and the Ukrainians within it continue to live.
Proceeds from ticket sales will go to support our brave Ukrainian defenders.
