After more than a decade releasing albums and touring with award-winning indie-folk pioneers Tinpan Orange, Emily Lubitz has stepped out on her own. Her debut album, ‘Two Black Horses’ will be released in July 2025.
She has collaborated with the likes of Paul Kelly, Martha Wainwright, Emma Donovan and Mama Kin, and yet her solo work is imbued with the raw energy of a breakthrough artist. Emily is a very special artist possessing a dreamy ethereal voice that will transport you Emily’s new record, Two Black Horses sounds like an old Hollywood movie, starring Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline and Phoebe Bridgers, who go on holidays together and talk about their feelings. Her live show will break hearts but keep toes tapping. The band is hot.
