This camp will allow the students to expend their understanding and application of robotics skills beyond the regular curriculum, focusing more intensively on building and into the competition aspects, which isn’t always possible during term-time.- Building Workshop
Students will improve their robots by designing and building a ‘shooter’ mechanism to boost their robot's performance in the VEX IQ Robotics Competition. They’ll evaluate the pros and cons of catapults, flywheels, and other propulsion systems. After that, students will program and practice driving it to get ready for the next competition.
- Competition Workshop
Students will be guided through key aspects of competition preparation, including planning around match schedules and developing effective match strategies. They will also practice their driving skills in a competition setting. The camp includes a mock competition, offering students unique experiences and opportunities to practice a wide range of scenarios.
