A Practical Guide to VPD for Community Speech Pathologists.This practical workshop demystifies velopharyngeal dysfunction (VPD) for speech pathologists working in community settings. Participants will gain a clear understanding of the types and causes of VPD, how to distinguish VPD from common speech sound disorders, and when to refer for specialist assessment.
Please note the workshop will be held at Perth Children's Hospital on Level 5 in the Education and Training Centre. Check-in will begin at 8.30am, with the workshop starting at 9am. Paid parking is available in the QEII precinct for $27.30 per day. There are also public transport options available to PCH.
