MAC4Intensivists is a high-impact ,simulation based course tailored for experienced Intensive Care Specialists
Accredited by the College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM).
This immersive,full-day course provides partcipants with the oppurtunity to :
- Explore human factors and team dynamics in high-stakes clinical care
- Master the management of complex and difficult airways,including CICO scenarios,tracheostomy and laryngectomy emergencies
- Engage in advanced simulation-training with hands-on intubation practice across a range of challenging airway scenarios
- Strengthen leadership and communication skills
- Gain familiarity with critical airway equipment and refine procedural skills in airway rescue techniques
Led by an experienced, multidisciplinary simulation faculty of FANZCA, FCICM and FACEM clinicians, the course fosters open discussion, peer learning, and reflective practice in a supportive environment.
This course will ensure you meet your CPD requirements with confidence, enhancing your clinical confidence in high-risk airway scenarios.
The course will meet 9 hours of educational domain category 1 for CPD requirements

- Senior ICU clinicians seeking to refresh and advance their airway management skills
- Practioners aiming to meet the Specialist High-Level Requirement(SHLR) for airway management under the CICM CPD framework

Course Information
MAC4Intensivists commences at 8am and conludes at 5:15pm. To allow the course to run on time, registrants are requested to arrive 15 minutes prior to the course start time. The course will be fully catered.
