Join fungi enthusiast Tracie MacVean and arborist Tristan Black on a walk to learn about the diversity and curiosities of trees and the fungi kingdom.Learn about the anatomy of mushrooms and their relationships with plants and walk away with the basics of how to identify mushrooms in the field. Discover how to contribute to our understanding of native fungi by becoming a citizen scientist and sharing your observance on platforms such as iNaturalist.

This is on Firebrace Track.
The best way to access this area is to turn off the highway where there’s signage for the trestle bridge, then stay on Firebrace track, and continue driving until you see us.
Roughly 2.5 hours each walk.
