About
A Communication Guide supports someone with deafblindness to access information, communication and the environment and has skills to be a Human Guide.Training is presented by SensesWA Deafblind Consultants with varied professional & allied health backgrounds and by people with deafblindness. This two day course is valued at $800.
Thanks to the generous support of our partners, we are pleased to offer scholarships for financial assistance. The registration fee for scholarship winners will be subsidised $700 and the trainee will be asked to contribute $100 to the cost of their training.
This opportunity is available to those working in disability services across Western Australia. Preference will be given to those who are or will be in a position to use their learning for the benefit of West Australians with deafblindness.
