Australia–India in the Indian Ocean Century is a high-level strategic symposium bringing together senior leaders from government, business, academia, and the diaspora. Held in Melbourne on 8 August 2025, the event marks six years of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and four years since the signing of the Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (ECTA).The program will explore five key themes shaping the Indo-Pacific: strategic trust, counter-terrorism cooperation, energy and emissions strategy, economic diplomacy, and diaspora-led cultural leadership. Attendees will engage in keynote addresses, fireside panels, a networking high tea, and a celebratory dinner featuring cultural reflections.
