Step into the delicate world of botanical watercolour painting with award-winning artist and educator Dr Lyn Nothdurft. In this gentle and inspiring workshop, Lyn will guide beginners and those with little experience through the fundamentals of watercolour technique—transferring an image, building layers, and capturing the subtle beauty of the vanilla lily on paper.
With nearly 50 years of experience as a secondary school educator and accolades including the Prof Betty Watts Memorial Award and the Brisbane Catholic Education Award, Lyn brings both artistic excellence and deep teaching wisdom to her sessions. She is a celebrated finalist in the Du Reitz Art Prize and the 2024 winner of the Still Life category at the Mary Valley Art Festival.
