Celebrate Landcare Week 2025 at Oxley Creek Common by volunteering for Landcare!
Landcare Week is an annual celebration of landcare held during the first week of August to acknowledge the Australians who are actively restoring, enhancing and protecting the natural environment in their community.
You will be planting native seedlings and removing invasive weeds to enhance native vegetation growth and improve biodiversity in bushland along Brisbane's largest creek catchment.
No experience required, you will be supported by Landcare Supervisors who will provide an introduction to the project, give a safety induction, and demonstrate the tasks.
Lunch is provided, along with all gloves, tools and equipment to undertake the tasks on the day.
This activity requires moderate level of physical activity.
