About
Peer-to-peer learning means learning through observing, demonstrating and assisting your peers. Therapeutic horticulture program participants can learn from other participants as much as from trainers and support workers.This seminar will explore the different ways that peer-to-peer learning can present in both group and individual therapeutic horticulture programs, and strategies for professionals to facilitate opportunities for it in their own practice.
We’ll share real examples from our programs showing how peer-to-peer learning helps participants explore new activities, learn social behaviours, and build confidence.
You’ll leave with practical strategies to recognise and create peer-to-peer learning opportunities, helping participants experience new therapeutic benefits.
