Join KHG Speech Pathologist Ebony Post for an insightful hour delving into the Communication element of KHG's GROW Model. Everyone engaging in a Therapeutic Horticulture activity will have communication preferences and support needs unique to them. In the gardens at Kevin Heinze GROW, staff utilize a range of communication tools and strategies in order to ensure communication access for all participants. This seminar will provide an overview of these tools and strategies.We’ll share real examples from our programs, and you will leave with practical strategies to better communicate with those you work with, as well as strategies to support other staff and participants to be better communications.
