SAMPLER MOUNTING WORKSHOP
Saturday, 31 January 2026
10am – 3.30pm
Embroiders’ Guild NSW, Concord West
Tutor Alison Snepp will guide buyers through mounting their embroidery, ready for framing. Specialist materials customised to each piece provided. Most samplers should be ready for framing by the end of the day, although larger ones may need to be completed at home. Framing of the mounted embroidery is the responsibility of the purchaser. While this workshop is included in the purchase price, it is not compulsory to attend.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)
Which Session should I book if I’m thinking of purchasing an embroidery?
You have two options:
1. Select a Viewing Session if you would like to preview the pieces. This automatically also grants you access to the Sale Session (you don’t need to make an additional booking for it).
2. Or simply select the Sale Session if you prefer to only attend that.
Which Session should I book if I would just like to see the embroideries?
We understand that this is a rare opportunity to get up close to these precious embroideries and welcome those who would simply like to ‘have a little look.’ However, we request that you select a Viewing Session (if you fall in love with one of the pieces, you are welcome to also attend the Sale Session).
Is there a limit to the number of people who can attend?
Each Viewing Session is strictly limited to 25 people. The Sale Session will allow access to 25 people at a time, on a first come basis.
When will the Catalogue be available?
To be confirmed, however we anticipate it will be available shortly prior to the event. The best way to keep informed is to book your spot.
What if I am unable to attend the Mounting Workshop or prefer not to?
The workshop is included in the purchase price of embroideries, but it is not compulsory for buyers to participate. Refunds or discounts are not available to those who do not attend. Due to the highly customised nature of the workshop it will unfortunately only be held once, on the 31 January 2026 as stated.
Can I make a purchase online?
Purchases can only be made in person at the Sales Session on 25 October 2025.
Do I need to be a member of the Embroiderers’ Guild NSW to attend?
No, anyone is welcome.
