Jeffreys challenges the idea that ‘equality’ is enough, calling instead for radical transformation. She critiques the men’s sexual rights movement & gender ideology, warning of their threat to feminist gains, and develops a lesbian feminist critique of queer politics. This is a book for women resisting exploitation & fighting for liberation.
Julia Long is a lesbian feminist who has worked as a teacher, academic, researcher & charity sector manager. Her activism focuses on male violence against women, particularly pornography, the sex industry & transgenderism. Sheila Jeffreys is a lesbian feminist, activist & author of works on women's rights.
