Bullying, Harassment & Discrimination Training FOR LEADERS

LeadersAs a result of attending the training it would be expected that the managers/supervisors would be more aware of their responsibilities and have enough knowledge and confidence to be able to identify potential issues and respond constructively and at the earliest stages. They should also be more proactive and aware of their roles as leaders and models of expected standards of professional behaviour and fairness.
The training will cover:
• Overview of relevant legislation (including recent developments such as positive duty and psychosocial risks and sexual harassment)
• What is harassment? sexual harassment? discrimination? victimisation?
• What is bullying – different types – upward, workplace mobbing etc?
• Performance management vs. bullying
• Vicarious liability and management obligation and responsibility
• Employees' responsibility and liability
• Internal complaint resolution - how it works and the managers’ role within process
