[Livestream] Queensland has a new Trusts Act!

Presented by George Street Chambers' member Karen GastonJoin us for an overview of the new Trusts Act, which is due to commence next year. Karen will highlight notable changes as well as provisions which remain substantially similar . Particular emphasis will be placed on key sections (such as s8 and s96) which enjoy regular use in practice.
Karen specialises in litigation involving equity, trusts, wills and estates. Prior to her call to the Bar, she was a Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist in succession law, attaining accreditation in 2013. Karen has a particular interest in estate litigation with a broader commercial focus, such as those concerning rural partnerships, trusts, and equitable remedies, such as undue influence and unconscionable conduct.
