About
Eddy avenue reserve has a little ephemeral waterway which runs through it seasonally. Bordered on both sides by residential properties, this little slice of vegetation needs your help.As a part of the Green Links - Urban Ripple project we are putting in 4000 (yes, you read that right!) trees, shrubs and ground covers to help slow water flow and erosion, while adding much needed biodiversity to the site.
Come along to help us put some plants in the ground!
Wear suitable boots/shoes and long pants and bring along gloves, rain coats and a warm hat!
Urban Ripple is $701000 Victorian Government, Green Links Grant to the Bunanyung Landscape Alliance and Leigh Catchment Group to restore 80.5 hectares along 9.8 kilometres of waterway by planting 39,500 trees and shrubs.
