Toowoomba Grammar School invites Junior School parents to an important information session and panel discussion about a proposed community-led initiative to delay personal smartphone ownership during the early years of adolescence.The evening will include:
Insights into child development and digital wellbeing
An overview of current research and upcoming national legislation
Case studies from other schools
Practical alternatives to smartphones for safety and communication
Student and parent perspectives
A Q&A session with School leadership
This is an opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and help shape the direction of this initiative at TGS.
A recording will be made available for families who cannot attend. A Zoom link will also be provided for boarding families.
