Opera by the Lakes 2026
About
Opera by the Lakes is an annual event in March each year since 2014 (two years off for Covid). It has attracted up to 1000 patrons to enjoy such performers as Marina Prior, David Hobson, Sylvie Paladino, Teddy Tahu Rhodes and many others. It is held at Nyerimilang Heritage Park (near Lakes Entrance Victoria) with stunning views across the Gippsland Lakes.2026 will have Australian Idol finalist William Le Brun, international coloratura soprano Georgia Wilkinson, international baritone Daniel Belle, plus local sopranos Maddie Crombie & Maddie Clark, accompanied by the brilliant Simon Loveless.
