About
Join Kamilaroi artist, Amy Lea Hill-Trindall for a special painting workshop linked to Georges River Art Price 2025 and her Spotlight display Walking on Country. The latest honours the knowledge and legacy of ancestors that has been shared and passed on to the next generations. It features contemporary art, weaving, traditional artefacts, and representations of traditional customs.Amy will introduce the group to Aboriginal symbols and painting techniques. During the session, she will help you tell your own story through painting.
No prior experience is necessary. All materials will be provided. This event is suitable for ages 16 years and over.
