Join us for an exciting afternoon of music as five local ensembles come together to present their setlists ahead of the 2025 Victorian Band League State Championships.Featuring two outstanding brass bands – Geelong West Brass Band and Sparrow Park Brass – alongside the three concert bands of the Geelong Concert Band program, this event offers a rare opportunity to hear a variety of championship repertoire in one showcase.
Each band will perform their contest program in full before receiving expert feedback in a live workshop session from two of Australia’s most respected adjudicators and conductors – Ken Waterworth and Amy Wert.
Whether you're a musician, supporter, or simply a lover of band music, State Champs Showcase is your chance to experience the talent and hard work of our region's ensembles as they fine-tune their performances for the big stage.
