A collaborative event involving Co-Opera, Adelaide Wind Orchestra and the Adelaide hills Chamber Players, this program highlights many of the famous pieces for which Kurt Weill has become a legendary cultural figure in the Weimar Republic of Germany. Music includes Suite from the Threepenny Opera, the Berliner Requiem and the Mahagonny Songspiel......with soloists Robert Macfarlane [tenor], Jeremy Tatchell [baritone], a male chorus for the Requiem and a marvellous instrumental and vocal ensemble for Mahagonny.
