First Nations Navigation & Mapping using digital tools

About
Blending Maths & Digital Technologies (DT) participants will use AI & Delightex (CoSpaces) to design & create a 3D landscape or navigation-inspired image, drawing on cultural & environmental elements. Using a collection of Winyama icons, participants will personalise their digital landscape to represent key features of a journey, map or navigation path.This webinar introduces the 9 rich contexts in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures cross-curriculum priority in the Australian Curriculum: Mathematics. It explores First Nations’ navigation and mapping, showing how this context is integrated in the Maths in Schools online courses and supported by resources available in the CSER Lending Library.
Suitable for Primary & Secondary teachers No prior AI or VR skills are needed.
