2025 Fraser Symposium & Oration

The University of Melbourne (Archives and Special Collections) and Trinity College are delighted to invite you to the Fraser Symposium being held to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Fraser Government.

The Symposium will be held at Trinity College on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 December 2025.

The topic of the Fraser Oration, given by the Rt Hon Helen Clark, will be 'The United Nations – is it relevant after 80 years? A prescription for change'.

Time: Symposium sessions: 8:30am – 6:00pm (both days) | Oration & Dinner: 6:00 – 10:15pm, Friday 12 December

Venue: Trinity College, 100 Royal Parade, Parkville VIC 3052 | Entry into the College via Gate C or Tin Alley

Full Access: $200 per person
(Provides access to all symposium sessions including morning/afternoon tea and lunch across both days (12–13 December), the Oration on Friday 12 December and dinner at Trinity College following the Oration)
Oration & Dinner Only: $80 per person
(Provides access to the Oration and dinner at Trinity College following the Oration on Friday 12 December only). 
Oration Only: Free (limited capacity)

Dress code for the dinner is business casual.
