Welcome to online membership registration for the Darling Downs Radio Club Incorporated. From here you may join or renew your membership of the Club using our online process through TryBooking.Read on, or click the "Register Now" box to get started straight away.
This new form provides a one-stop process to collect all the required details and allow you to pay online.
The downloadable paper form is still available, but be aware that using the legacy form creates significant extra work for both of us, and takes longer to process.
Some useful information about this online process:
The legacy manual membership forms are available from https://ddrci.org.au/membership-application/ along with the current Club Governance documents (Rules and Bylaws).
- Club membership year is from 1 July to 30 June of the following year.
- Memberships will be prorated as the year progresses
- Memberships purchased before the 2025 Annual General Meeting will be at the current rate. The 2025 AGM is expected to approve an increase in rates.
- The language used generally by the TryBooking system in headings refers to events and tickets.
- In our case the 'event' is a club membership, and any reference to 'ticket' is payment/confirmation for a membership.
- The club absorbs the small credit card and TryBooking charges, but if you pay using PayPal there will be a slight extra charge that will be added to your payment method
Payment options
Once you reach the Checkout page, TryBooking facilitates payment from:
- credit card/debit card (directly),
- PayPal (which in turn supports multiple types of credit/debit card, and 'Pay in 4')
- GPay
TryBooking does not support bank transfer, and of course it doesn't accept cash. The TryBooking process eliminates large amounts of manual/transcription overhead for your Secretary and Treasurer, and guarantees that we can match your payment to your record.
Please consider using the online form and credit card/PayPal/Pay in 4/GPay even if you normally prefer bank transfer.
Security
Finally a word about security. The TryBooking system is widely used and is highly respected. The financial transaction process is very secure, and we believe that you may click through any of the links with confidence.
