Year 5/6 Student Led Conferences
About
Student Led Conferences will be held between 6.00pm and 7.00pm on Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th August. Please book your child's conference at a time that best suits your family. Conferences last for 20-25 minutes. You only need to book one ticket per family for each of your children in Years 5 & 6, regardless of how many of you will be attending.In a student led conference, students present examples of their work to parents/caregivers and describe the progress they have made as well as problems or challenges they have experienced. We believe that students should be part of the evaluation and reporting process so they can show what they have achieved and receive feedback directly. A student led conference is based on the belief that children are capable of taking responsibility for their own learning and reporting their progress to their parents/caregivers.
