This Term, Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Students will be completing the Bronze Qualifying Adventurous Journey component of the Award. At the heart of the Adventurous Journey is the opportunity for a young person to engage in activities that require determination, physical effort, perseverance, problem solving and cooperation. Students will go on a 2 day (1 Night) expedition which will be led by Out and About Adventures Pty Ltd and qualified teachers from Gilroy. This will occur from 14th - 15th August 2025. The Qualifying Journey will commence at Catherine Hill Bay and finish at Budgewoi Lake.The cost for the Qualifying Journey is $240. It is important that students pay their Journey fee before we commence. We will not be able to accommodate students who have not paid these fees. Could you please make payment and return the hard copy forms by Monday 11th August
