This CPD activity aims to strengthen General Practitioners’ clinical knowledge and confidence in diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal conditions, with a focus on hip pain in young, active patients and foot & ankle arthritis.Hip-related pain in younger populations is often under-recognised in primary care settings, yet early identification and evidence-based intervention can prevent progression to chronic conditions.
Similarly, foot and ankle arthritis contributes significantly to mobility loss, particularly in older adults, and requires timely, multidisciplinary management.
Through up-to-date clinical guidance, case-based learning, and practical assessment tools, General Practitioners will improve diagnostic reasoning, optimise referral pathways for imaging and specialist care, and apply appropriate treatment strategies to support patient outcomes and improve quality of life.
