Join us for a day of workshops and networking session with music industry professionals from APRA AMCOS, 3CR Community Radio, Hope Street Recordings and The Boite's Portfolio Project artists.You’ve got your music recorded, mixed and mastered, so what happens next? How can you make use of community radio, and press to promote your music and build audiences?
You'll also learn who APRA AMCOS are, how to register your music, what copyright is, and how royalties are distributed.
Elle Young, Publicist at Midnight Snack, Artist Manager and Publicist at Hopestreet Recordings and Radio Host at PBS FM Melbourne will be teaching you how to write an effective media release for your next release.
Join Joe Malignaggi, Music Coordinator at 3CR Community Radio as he speaks to the importance of community radio, how to reach out to community radio and how artists can make use of AMRAP (Australian Music Radio Airplay project).
Al Parkinson from APRA AMCOS will be unpacking APRA AMCOS basics! Al will be discussing who they are, what they do, what your membership means, and how APRA AMCOS can support you as well as covering how and why you should register your music, copyright and royalties.
