Traditional Owners Bobby Abbott and Mary Tupou present their cultural immersion program, offering you the opportunity of a sustained cultural experience literally ‘on country’. You will get to see, feel and learn about Arrarnta people, their culture and country the right way. This experience concludes with the best dinner you will ever enjoy in the West MacDonnell Ranges.

Taarna Valley lies in the heart of Arrarnta Country in Tjoritja, the west MacDonnell ranges. Taarna is a Western Arrarnta word meaning COOLAMON -an aboriginal basin-like vessel traditionally used for carrying items such as fruit, nuts and even babies!
