About
Join us in celebrating the diversity of Indigenous languages of the Kimberley and beyond, and recognising the First Nations leaders who are keeping their languages strong. We will gather on the lawns at Waringarri Arts for an evening with Kimberley storytellers. Our storytellers will share entertaining and revealing tales in Indigenous languages, along with interpretations into English. Food and non-alcoholic drink provided. Bring a blanket or folding chair to sit on. Gates open from 4.30pm.Supported by the Mirima Language Centre (Mirima Dawang Woorlab-gerring), the Aikuma Project, Charles Darwin University, and the Federal Indigenous Languages and Arts Program.
