Celebrate the start of Book Week with a fun-filled morning for the whole family!Join us at Black Rock Preschool for a Kids' Second-Hand Book Sale and Sausage Sizzle—a relaxed community event where families can pick up some pre-loved children’s books, enjoy tasty treats, and take part in creative activities that celebrate the joy of reading.
🛍️ What to expect:
A range of gently loved children’s books for all ages
Delicious sausages, refreshing drinks, and cool Zooper Doopers for sale
Fun children’s activities, including:
✏️ Helping create a communal kinder storybook
🎨 Colouring-in and craft stations
📖 Cosy reading corners for quiet time with new finds
Plus, kids are invited to dress up as their favourite book characters!
Whether you're building your home library or just want to soak up some Book Week fun, this event is a great way to support the kinder and connect with local families.
All proceeds go directly towards programs and resources for the children.
