Melbourne’s own Flash Bastard Experience (aka The FBE or The Bastards) are four grown men with teenage hearts and a shabby dress sense, belting out high-energy, original rock that gets you moving from the first riff. Frontman Scott Kelty (vocals/lead guitar) teams up with Luke Kelty (rhythm), Sticks (bass), and Pete Ryan (drums) to deliver raw, ragged rock and roll with swagger, fun, and the occasional airborne leap.This show also marks the official launch of their debut album Teenage Heart—available on vinyl and CD at the gig alongside fresh merch.
Also performing is Mezzanine channelling the distorted haze of modern shoegaze with immersive, nostalgic soundscapes. Expect swirling melodies from Rigby Gray, layered guitar tones courtesy of Sam Haddon, and punk-driven beats from Jordan Bajinski, crafting a live experience that feels like a journey through memory, noise and reverie.
