This year, on Thursday 7 August we invite our students to participate in Jeans for Genes day to help raise vital funds for the Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI) for treatments and cures for serious conditions affecting Australian children. Sadly, 1 in 20 kids face a birth defect or genetic disease, with over 6,000 different known genetic diseases, most of which are poorly understood and have no specific treatment or cures.Students are asked to please support our ‘Jeans for Genes Day’ initiative by donating $2 and wearing as much denim as they can on the day.
