What darkness lurks at the heart of the city?
Ollie is searching for her sister, and all roads lead to Pomona: an abandoned concrete island at the heart of the city. But as others have learned the hard way, getting involved can cost you everything. Perhaps to survive, it’s better to ignore the truth.
Pomona is a dark, intense and curious one act play about living in the modern world. It unfolds like a puzzle, flirts with the fantastical, and twists like a nightmare.
The play was first performed in London in 2014. This will be its South Australian premiere.
CONTENT WARNING: This play contains coarse language, violence, blood, abduction, and references to sexual assault, suicide and abuse.

AUDITION IS BOOKED BY ONLINE APPOINTMENT ONLY
Each individual audition is 15 minutes.
Please select one of the provided scenes to prepare and perform in your audition.
Don’t feel limited by the ages or genders of the characters; for the audition you can pick any piece you like.
You do not need to memorise these unless you wish to.
You will also be asked to cold read one or two other scenes.
On booking an audition, please ensure you advise your correct email address. An audition form (and campus map) will be sent to you.
On the day of your audition, please allow enough time for parking and to complete the form if necessary.
We recommend you wear comfortable clothing and shoes, and bring water.
Auditions are open to everyone aged 18 and over. You do not need to be associated with The University of Adelaide to audition.
You do not need to be a member of the Theatre Guild to audition, but if successful, you will need to become a member (min. cost $15).
