Ride the steam train on the Zig Zag Railway - DEPARTS SYDNEY
Journey over the Blue Mountains to soak up the sounds and smells of Australia’s historic rail adventure, the Zig Zag Railway! Established in 1869, enjoy a nostalgic steam locomotive as it hauls you over from Clarence Station to Bottom Points & back. The Zig-Zag deviation comprises ten tunnels of varying lengths, from 70 to 825 metres. On our way home, we’ll offer a bonus walk to explore the eastern Zig Zag deviation at Glenbrook.
Depart Central Station at 8.30 am or Strathfield at 9 am, visit the mountain village of Glenbrook, & enjoy a 90-minute journey on the train. A picnic box is included & will be served for lunch. This sensory adventure is $329 per person plus a $47 personal contribution with 1 in 3 support. This includes return minivan transportation, group support, a light lunch, and a train ride. Return to Strathfield Station at 6 pm or Central at 6.30 pm.
