About
S*x, s*x work, and p0rn are often considered societal taboos, surrounded in controversy and faced with calls for regulation. This panel will discuss stigma, censorship, fantasy in and the influence of AI in relation to porn, s*x, romance, and the s*x industry. This session will also explore what an ideal s*x education could look like, covering aspects such as love literacy and p0rn literacy from the perspective of teens, academics, social justice warriors, and s*x workers. Jenna Love, president of Scarlet Alliance will speak to these issues in the context of s*x workers, Giselle Woodley will share findings from an ECU research project that explored teens’ views on these topics, and Debra Dudek from the Love Studies Research Group will address how these issues appear in popular culture.
