Moose JUUCE - ORGANatomy: Featuring Maisie Aitken and Dusty

About
Moose Juuce is a soul-funk collective out of Adelaide, built on deep grooves, rich harmony, and a shared love of classic rhythm and blues. Led by young powerhouse vocalist Maisie Aitken, winner of the 2025 Generations in Jazz Vocal Scholarship — the band channels raw spirit and seasoned musicianship into every performance. The group features Grammy Award nominated American tenor saxophonist Dusty Cox, guitarist Tyler Venter (the Boy Wonder of Guitar), baritone saxophonist Nick Sverdloff, Hammond organist Solomon Young, bassist Declan Horan, and drummer Toby Lang — each a staple of Adelaide’s vibrant jazz, funk, and soul scenes. Together, they craft a sound that’s rooted in tradition but never stuck in the past, weaving New Orleans street funk, Memphis soul, and gritty blues into something unmistakably their own. Whether on a festival stage or in a dimly lit club, Moose Juuce plays it like it was meant to be played — live, loud, and from the heart.Date
