Claremont Concert Band 50th Gala Concert (SOLD OUT)
About
2025 marks the 50th year of Claremont Concert Band and to mark the occasion please join us for our 50th Gala Concert.Please bring your own supper and drinks of your choice. Tea, coffee and birthday cake will be provided to celebrate.
There will be guest appearances from previous conductors, including our first conductor Brian Underwood, Peter Sunman, Dale Pointon, Ivan Roy and Dr Tom Walters.
There will also be an historical display from the archives of the late Helen Parkinson, the founder of Nedlands Music Association from where Claremont Concert Band originated.
Our repertoire conducted by our Director of Music, Mayuka Juber, will showcase the talent of this dedicated group of musicians. You will hear music from well-known composers such as Andrew Lloyd Webber, Dvorak, Hazo and Standridge, right through to newer works of Charoensri and Appermont in a wonderful concoction of melody, texture and rhythm.
