Weaving the Wild

About
Weaving the Wild is a 1-2 day workshop which goes beyond 'how to weave' and explores the art of deep listening, plant communication and co-creating with nature. On Day 1, we begin by connecting with, and learning how to be in right relationship with the land.
We go for a wander and explore different fibres that can be used for weaving, learning how to harvest in a way that honours the plant and it's ecosystem.
Weaving is an ancestral practice that's part of our DNA. After preparing our fibres, we'll gather around the fire, call in the support of our ancestors and create the space for our hands to remember.
For those staying on, Day 2 will be dedicated to deepening our practice and exploring nature as a mirror.
Our baskets hold our unique medicine - they reflect the gifts we have to offer and show us how we may be of service in the world.
This is a day dedicated to the art of deep listening, being in reciprocity with the land and remembering our medicine.
