Year 6 2026 Canberra Tour

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Thank you for your attendance at the Year 6 2026 Canberra Tour information session. 

This tour, scheduled for Monday 7 to Thursday 10 September 2026, is a key part of our Year 6 program and offers students a unique opportunity to explore our nation’s capital and deepen their understanding of Australian history, government, and culture.

Tour Highlights Include:
• Parliament House
• The Australian War Memorial
• Questacon
• The National Museum of Australia
• Australian Institute of Sport

The Canberra Tour supports key learning outcomes in Civics and Citizenship, History, and Science, while also fostering independence, resilience, and social development. As such, attendance is expected for all Year 6 students.

To assist with planning and bookings, we ask that you confirm your child’s participation through the Parent Portal by Friday 12 September 2025. A non-refundable deposit of $700.00 will be required at this time. 

We estimate the total cost of the trip will be approximately $2000.The remaining costs of the trip will be paid according to the following schedule:

Installment 2: $700 due Friday 28 March 
Installment 3: TBC (this cost may vary according to flights) due Friday 13 June
