About
The Verandah Project Bush Dance is a Fundraising initiative of The Maitland Heritage Guardians, with sights set to restore iron lace on our High Street buildings.Early High Street Maitland was adorned in beautiful Iron Lace Verandahs. However, a majority of them were lost between 1915-1945; the iron either donated towards war efforts, or torn down when buses replaced horses and sulkies.
Sun Street Studios has kindly agreed to support The Verandah Project by agreeing to spend significant funds of their own to restore their verandah.
The proceeds of our dance will support a portion of the iron lace being restored to Sun Street Studio Verandah at, 246 High Street, Maitland.
Tickets include:
Entertainment: Rose Thistle and Shamrock Folk Band
Meal: Main meal by Full Throttle BBQ, Dessert & Soft Drink.
A bar will be open on the night, with additional drinks available at an additional cost.
Not mandatory, however guests are encouraged to dress in themes for each table.
