Nutrition & Intellectual Disability: we can we do?
Presented by Monica Wellington, dietitian and PhD candidate, you will hear about the importance of food and nutrition for health and wellbeing, what challenges exists, and ways the sector can help empower people with intellectual disability with the right information to have more choice about healthy eating. You’ll also get a preview to a recent research project which asked health and support professionals about their role providing nutrition advice.
